Jen Stafford is an Emmy-Award winning director known for soulful stories that ignite the human spirit.
Raised in New York’s Adirondack Mountains, Jen is especially known for crafting emotive stories with a sense of purity and nuanced humanity. Upon graduating from Emerson College, Jen was recruited by Red Bull Media House where she began directing documentaries featuring the world of action sports and adventure.
In 2022, Stafford directed the series One Shot, winning the National Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Camera Work. She also received a 2023 NATAS Emmy Award for her work on the Seattle Seahawks Stadium Open Film “Rebirth.” Over the last decade, Jen has directed a range of commercial and documentary work for brands including Delta Airlines, Hulu, NFL, NBA, Domino’s, Chipotle, Red Bull, Rapha, Special Olympics, and Oura Ring.
Jen’s debut short film, SAM, tells the story of a free spirited 10-year-old girl who enjoys playing as one of the boys until she begins experiencing the societal limitations reserved for adolescent girls and fleeting innocence of childhood. The film won the Minneapolis-St.Paul International Film Festival, and premiered at the Florida Film Festival, Chelsea Film Festival, and was selected as a finalist at the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
